Hi,
I am posting in Beginners because I am, and full of curiosity for the new hobby I am embarking upon.

My concern at the moment, before I even put wheel to tarmac, is what to me as a total novice seem a very meagre Payload.
It may be fine for week and week-end trips, but I know only too well how many extra items are likely to sneak on board over a longer period.
So my question is, is this a likely occurrence, is it a common occurrence, and if so what are the chances of a weight check? (assuming my extra accumulations have not reached an absurd level and completely flattened the suspension making my offence obvious.)

I have not weighed my current van but my local builders let me put one on there weigh bridge a few years ago.

But saying that I havent been pulled over in 36 years, either in mine or my parents motorhome but obviously it could happen.

Rolling on and enjoying life on the road
