I did not get into sidecars until later in life, it was either sidecar or put my dogs in kennels, and as I had had a bad experience putting one of my dogs in them it was no contest, I bought the A!0 as I has a Triumph 21 at the time and that would have been useless as a tug. I found the Busmar and we cobbled the outfit together 3 days before leaving for the I.O.M ... the worst 310 miles I have ever ridden ... My arms and shoulders were on fire and then to add insult to injury I missed the first days racing because I had cooked the clutch, and had to replace the plates ... which seemed to cause the German bikers some amusement ... seeing a female stripping a clutch and all ... took so much longer because they kept asking questions and my German was not that good ...
This was my Triumph 21 and yes Spinner I wish I had it now ... sold it for £700 and paid £600 for the A10 and £90 (+ £10 for the fittings) for the Busmar ... More ...
I remember the rigid fork bike,think it may of been a royal enfield.Brother had the crusader sports,which nearly got me back into bikes but when he had the red 650cc ex police bonnyville and I got a chance to try that out !! No hat or goggles in those days so eyes were streaming and arms nearly pulled out of its sockets,I knew I'd do myself an injury if I didn;t keep off them More ...
