Hi there!
My husband and I own a Ford Transit based Herald Squire, whom we call Monty. We have lived pretty much full-time in Monty for the past four years, spending much of that time in Europe.
We're looking forward to having a good look round the site and hope to be very much involved. :)

We just used the 'AA Big Road Atlas, Europe'. Bought as a 'cheapy' in Lidls, IIRC! And, of course our sat-nav which we would not go anyewhere without.

We also have Microsoft Autoroute on the computer, which gives us street level mapping and the ability to view any area of Europe at any scale we want, which is useful for long-distance planning, more detailed local planning, and understanding the 'geography' of any area or steet we may need to find.

We find this combination of information will get us anywhere, and we usually know where we are - if we don't know then the sat-nav does :-)
