As it will be A Special Occasion, She Who Must Be Obeyed and I are going MHing to rural Oxfordshire in early April - which the Met Office predicts will be another week of this viciously cold weather  .

Apart from the obvious 4-season mummy-bags and thermal underwear, what do people suggest?

The site has EHU so we can plug in a fan-heater (but will the site power be cut overnight?) We also have a Webasto heater run off the diesel tank.

Advice that doesn't involve heading for Spain, please?

Best of luck and hope the weather is not too unkind!

I think you have it covered but my priority would be to keep a bit of warmth throughout the nightimes - including the water in the boiler.

Background heat in the hab area should prevent any frost damage but if your water pump is in a cupboard I'd leave that door open so that some warmth circulates around it too.

Could be a special occasion to remember

If it ain't broke..... Don't fix it!
