Looks really good but in my opinion you should have kept the Porker. I love my little camper but I also love my old Porker just as much.

We did that about fifteen years ago, then one day, after riding around the villages on my Harley Trike, we stopped off for lunch in Cervera del Maestre. L-O-N-G liquid lunch and some silly sod asked if we were looking for a house. We'd just bought a new Tabbert so said no thanks and continued having our lunch. About an hour later the same question was aked and so we went and took a look. Red wine brain bought the house!!!! So, we now spend Jan, Feb, Mar, Apr and May over there, come back here for June, July and August as it's way way too hot for the likes of us northerners then head back for September and October. Works for us as we bring the camper back at the end of May to be serviced etc and we bring the Porker back at the end of October for the same reasons. Got to say it gets a bit hairy in the Porker when we go back sometimes as the snow does like to eat the odd bit of Pork!!! We don't drive through France though, always do the Portsmouth to Bilbao crossings as they have 'Dog friendly cabins.'   More ...

Well I'm seventy three next so we've just got to do what we've got to do. The age thing though is just a number in my honest opinion. I got a touch 'under the weather' in 1989 so I thought to myself, 'no pockets in shrouds' and try and live life the best I can. Went a bit daft and bought one of those American RV's, took it over to Spain and decided that it just wasn't good enough.
Brought it straight back to the UK and got all of my money back off the dealer and then bought a Eura Mobil.
As I have to have automatic gearboxes I've always had Mercedes based vehicles until the DVLA warned me that it would be likely that my licence would be restricted to 3500kgs so bought the Sandhurst just to be sure. It's a lovley little thing, could do with stretching though!
Your Hymer looks the dogs dangly bits I do have to say. We were thinking of getting another Eura Mobil but in reality I just can't justify spending so much at the present time as we don't do more than 5000 miles a year. Car does about the same!
I should get out more!!!!
