Not a travel guide (there are plenty of those already), more a brief guide for motorhomers who want to visit and explore some of ‘Real Spain’
Just a few short years ago Spain was very sparse in terms of official motorhome parking (Aires), or Areas de Servicio para Autocaravanas as the Spanish call them. In the last few years there have been huge improvements in the numbers of these places becoming available to us motorhomers.
Enlightened provincial and regional authorities have set up municipal areas which are often free and many private entrepreneurs have set up private businesses which are commonly referred to as Camper Parks. Together these have increased the stopover locations by many hundreds!

Description
A beautiful country pub set in an equally beautiful village.
Staff very friendly and helpful and the menu is excellent.
Absolutely essential (as always) to phone in advance as they will not allow too many motorhomes at any one time.
The interactive maps will give you a guide to what it's like and you can zoom in and out to get better detail of the surroundings.
The GPS details are accurate and the summary information below is believed to be correct - please let us know if you find otherwise, thank you.
If you visit, or have visited, this stopover please add a review to the 'Comments' section at the bottom of this page - thank you!

Parking for motorhomes in Italy is probably one of the most liberal in Europe. As long as there is no sign directly prohibiting motorhome parking, you are allowed to do so. This is partly due to many residents using these public parkings to semi-permanently 'park/store' their motorhomes. Official or quasi official aires are plentiful down to Lazio, Marche and Umbria areas with the exceptions of such areas as around the Lakes, along the coastlines and around the Dolomite area.
You can view the pictured official stopover details here - Gubbio, Umbria, Italy

Attention Farm Shop/Vineyard/Brewery/Antique Centre/Craft Centre/Hotel/Other owners and of course Publicans!
For the last 7 years we have listed hundreds of such UK locations on Club Motorhome. Generically referred to as 'Pub Stopovers' these lists now contain many other categories of businesses
We are always looking for more motorhome friendly locations that are willing to allow the occasional motorhome to park overnight when they visit your premises.
