A stylish and well designed tyre inflator that is ideal for motorhome use, able to produce pressures up to 100psi.

Cycplus are a leading brand for tyre inflators.

Probably best known for their high quality cycling electronics and accessories Cycplus have just produced a multipurpose tyre inflator.

This tyre inflator is brand new to the market and I'm pleased to have been asked to review it.

Using:

Firstly, it comes well packaged in a sturdy box which should withstand being jiggled around in a motorhome garage/locker. It's quite compact and seems well built weighing 1260g

Inside the box there is the AL7 itself, a Type-C to Type-C charging lead, a small handbook and a selection of adaptors for inflating various items.

The pump pressure can be set between 3 and 100psi so ideal for motorhome tyre pressures (typically 60-80psi).

Controls are simple and logical with an on/off button, a dial knob and a screen with the desired settings displayed, a button that independently switches a built in, powerful, light. The carrying handle pulls out to reveal the charging points which are a Type-C socket and a DC socket. The unit can also reverse charge so can act as a power supply to recharge your phone or other small device from the inbuilt 5200mah battery.

Because it has its own battery it can be used to inflate tyres without having to be connected to an extenal power supply at the same time.

One side of the charger hinges open to reveal the coiled air hose with a Shrader valve that can be connected directly to a tyre valve although a reducer and supplied angled adapter can be attached depending on the type and access available to the tyre valve. There are other adaptor/nozzles in there too to suit various applications.
