Don’t Forget Your Tyres
Whatever the vehicle, safe driving is extremely important and one major factor frequently overlooked is the tyres. Look after the tyres properly and you will improve the safety and behaviour of your motorhome. This booklet has been produced by the UK tyre industry to help you to do this.
The following list is to give you an indication as to what items are tested during an MOT. The list is only a brief summary of the actual procedures used and not all items apply to all vehicles. Also, dismantling of any part of the vehicle is not allowed during an MOT test, which means that hidden items cannot be seen or failed.
Driving in Europe has a serious side to it and the following is a note of the additional items that you need to carry with you to stay within the law.
Some items are pretty obvious such as your personal paperwork ie. passports and driving licences but others are not quite so.
