Prompted by a question today from a member asking how we stay connected to the internet, I thought it might be interesting to find out how YOU do it.....
For us it's as follows:
At this very moment we are house based so its easy
But, when we are on the road I use a variety of methods:
Unlocked MiFi with a ‘3’ PAYGO simm which gives me roaming at no extra cost via 3s Feel at Home package
Caroline and I have a smartphone each, again with 3. This time on contract.
An extender aerial for use on a windows laptop which brings in more networks and you just have to hope there is one that will allow a connection.
An Ipad that will connect to wifi - which is handy just to pop into somewhere just to use their wifi.
That just about covers it and most situations are covered by those options. But still relying on having a mobile signal or wifi so not 100%.
How do you get yours?
