We've had a double skillet for 2 yrs and find it very good to use in the van while looking around Dunhelm recently I saw a Tagine and wondered if it would be any use has anyone any comments on them link here

Thanks for the link,I had to look up exactly what a tagine was but now I know may pop down to our local dunelm and make the investment ,at £18 it looks a handy bit of kit.I,ve seen the forums re getting a double skillet these days and it seem a bit hit and miss. The best alternative I,ve seen seems to be from china or sold in romania
double pan cooker
Although the site does mention Auchen and carrefour as a distributer.ro site
cheers pete

Hi I've seen them at Dunhelm and their base is a little small, but have a look.A friend who saw them in use in Morroco bought one and say's their good. I tried to buy my Double Skillet direct and waited a month with out any acknowledgement from them and had to claim my money back from paypal, luckily I managed to get a s/h one and it's Ok, Although I wonder if a good saucepan and lid might be just as good,

The link to the Chinese one looks good and better looking quality than the Skillet
