Yes neilmac, we do the same, and with the matching odd socks, we fill these with fragile glasses which then lie flat in a cupboard.

But of course. There are enough oddities in this world.

echo the above but when our limited supply of old rugby socks(why did I even mention that!) runs out we supplement with spare flannels and tea towels, especially for the pastis and wine glasses. there are some "standards" that just cannot be lowered!
