Hi Zulurita, thanks for taking the time to read it! Yes, one or two other people have said they have had difficulty leaving comments. I am not sure why that may be, I assume that part is handled by blogspot. Some of our children are "followers" (I assume they want to keep a close eye on their inheritance) and they have managed to comment from time to time. But, it should be possible to cooment, without being a "follower" as far as I know. I will try to make time to have a look. Busy preparing to leave for Portugal!

I have tried comments, three different ways:

a) As Anonymous, you need to enter a displayed code (I know this has a technical name, but, I have forgotten what it is).

b) Using Google profile, that way, you did not have to enter the code.

c) Using Name/URL, then entering my EMail address only

In all three cases, the comment appeared, but, of course, I am the blog owner, so perhaps that makes a difference?

I will have a scan through my blog settings to see if there is anything obvious I have missed.

It may just be that Blogspot requires a click from you to publish the comments. Sometimes comments can go into an automatic spam area of your control panel until you OK them.

I clicked on Google account and made sure I was signed in but to know avail. It isn't just your blog so maybe I have a setting wrong.
I don't have an issue with wordpress so maybe I will have to try that.

We also stopped at Cadillac one year.We were lucky to get a spot also. Glad the weather is beginning to improve.
